Strawberry Pot (Centurion, Pretoria): One of our long-time retail partners, Strawberry Pot features a seasonal outdoor show-garden dedicated to carnivorous plants — part of a private collection showcasing over ¾ of the world’s carnivorous plant species.
🌱 Please note: From March onwards, the display garden enters its winter clean-up and repotting phase. Things may look a little wild as plants settle into dormancy, but everything is being prepped for the growing season. The garden is at its best in late spring and summer.
🪴 You’ll still find a limited selection of plants and supplies available for sale in-store year-round, including soil, distilled water, and spring-ready winter bulbs. It’s also our official free pickup point for online orders placed via the website.

- Our website features a comprehensive catalogue of everything Cultivo has to offer. Seeds are available in various quantities, while plants come in a range of sizes with potted or bare-root options. In most cases, you’ll receive exactly what’s pictured, so there are no surprises
- All the plants we offer for sale are sourced and specially imported, propagated from plants in our private collection or grown from seed — we do not sell wild-collected plants or seeds
- Lightning-fast processing: On regular weekdays, we typically process orders within 24 hours, and they are usually picked, packed and on their way within 2–3 days

- Specialised Local Delivery Service: If you're in Johannesburg, Midrand, Centurion or Pretoria, we’ve got just the thing! 🌱 Our Uber-style fragile flower delivery service uses a private vehicle to safely transport and deliver your plants in an open box, perfect for larger orders, potted plants and gifts
- Nationwide Shipping: We ship door-to-door and to Pargo pickup points across South Africa, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
- Free Pickup: Prefer to collect your order? Choose the free pickup option at checkout, and we’ll send your order to Strawberry Pot in Centurion. You’ll be notified when it’s ready for collection
- Free Shipping: Spend over R2000, and we'll cover the cost of packaging and shipping for your online order

- Stockists & Retail partners: A selection of potted plants & winter bulbs, gifts & mini-bogs, carnivorous plant soil, terrarium supplies and mineral-free water are available in-store at Strawberry Pot in Centurion and Marvellous Orchid in Boksburg. A hand-picked range (120+) rare & collectable plants, pre-made terrariums and supplies are sold by Dorry Pets in Centurion
- Pricing and availability: As an online store, our full range is available exclusively on our website. Stockists and retail partners carry a random selection of products, so not all items online will be offered by them. Prices may also vary due to differing operational costs
🔄 Bulk Packs & Large Quantity Orders
- Cultivo is all about quality and variety — not quantity. We’re not a wholesaler, but we do offer limited bulk packs and multi-plant bundles at discounted rates during seasonal clear-outs, restocks, or when repotting our seed-grown collection. These curated offers are prepared to order with fully acclimatised, well-established plants, sent bareroot to reduce weight and shipping costs — ideal for terrariums, resale, or expanding your personal collection.
- Smaller seasonal deals with just a few plants are occasionally listed in our per-species section and can be ordered directly through the website. Bulk packs with larger quantities are handled via WhatsApp, with EFT payment and custom courier options based on your location.
Visit Our Outdoor Carnivorous Plant Show Garden
- Explore our evolving outdoor carnivorous plant garden at Strawberry Pot nursery! This display is part of a privately owned collection, featuring over ¾ of the world’s carnivorous plant species.
- 🌿 Heads up: From March onwards, the garden enters its annual winter repotting and refresh phase. During this time, it may look a little wild as plants settle into dormancy — but the prep is real, and it’ll be worth the wait.
- Admission is free, and the garden is open year-round during nursery hours. Best time to visit? Late spring through summer, when everything’s in full growth ✨
Shop n Go:
- Don’t miss the ‘For Sale’ Tables during your visit to Strawberry Pot. These tables feature a selection of our plants available for immediate purchase, along with plant soil and distilled water and limited range of terrarium supplies
- During the colder months, plants may be dormant and won’t show their full potential, but they’ll start waking up in spring. The ‘For Sale’ section will remain open, with plants sold as dormant winter bulbs. These plants are already repotted and ready for the growing season, so they won’t need to be transplanted until next winter
