Description

Forkleaf Sundews (Drosera Binata) for Beginners

Forkleaf Sundews are fascinating carnivorous plants from Australia, renowned for their unique leaf structure and ability to attract and digest insects with their sticky glandular hairs. In our ‘for beginners' range, these sundews are at least 3 years old (8-12cm in summer) and are available in two sizes

It’s important to note that Fork leaf sundews are summer-growing plants, which means they need a winter rest period to store enough energy for the next growing season. During the colder months of the year, they do not grow actively, and during this time, these will be sent as dormant plants, with only a winter bud (no leaves) visible above the soil. Plants in this range will be sent already potted in our deluxe carnivorous plant soil for sundews, ready for the upcoming growing season, and will regrow from the rootstock, rhizome, or underground bulb in springtime.
